Who we are

One Partner Across the Trade Cycle

One accountable line, supplier floor to final destination

Most importers end up managing a collection of separate relationships: a manufacturer here, a freight forwarder there, customs requirements somewhere else, financing arranged separately again, then warehousing and distribution on arrival. Every gap between them is a place where cost, delay and risk accumulate.

Yana Capital Limited works differently. We take ownership of the whole sequence — supplier sourcing, procurement and quality coordination, freight and routing, customs and compliance, risk assessment, trade-finance coordination, warehousing and final delivery — so the trade moves as one process rather than six disconnected ones.

Based in Pickering, Ontario, working across international supply lines with particular familiarity in Asia.

  • One Point of Ownership

Sourcing, freight, customs, capital and delivery are coordinated by the same team, so nothing falls between providers.

  • Compliance Handled Early

Classification and documentation are prepared before cargo moves, which is where most avoidable delays are created.

  • Asia-to-Market Familiarity

We work with manufacturers and distributors across Asia and understand how those supply lines actually behave.

  • Capital Aligned to Cargo

Payment structures and working-capital timing are considered alongside the shipment, not after it.

How it works

Six stages, one owner

Each stage has a defined sequence and a checkpoint before the next begins. Nothing is handed off and hoped for.

  1. Stage 01

    Source

Identify and vet suppliers against capability, capacity, pricing and lead time — not just the lowest quote.

  2. Stage 02

    Procure & Inspect

Negotiate terms, place and manage orders, and arrange quality checks or pre-shipment inspection before goods leave.

  3. Stage 03

    Move

Select mode and routing across ocean, air, rail and road, then coordinate booking, containers and ports.

  4. Stage 04

    Clear

Prepare documentation, confirm classification and work with brokers and authorities ahead of arrival.

  5. Stage 05

    Align Capital

Coordinate appropriate trade-finance structures and payment timing with relevant financing partners.

  6. Stage 06

    Deliver

Handle warehousing, inventory and onward distribution through to the final destination.

International network

Asia to market, without the guesswork

Our working relationships sit where the goods actually come from and pass through. That matters when a factory slips a week, a port congests, or a classification question needs answering before a container sails.

  • Manufacturers and distributors across Asia, with depth in China's established production hubs
  • Freight partners across ocean, air, rail and road on the corridors we run
  • Customs brokers and compliance contacts on both ends of the lane
  • Warehousing and distribution capacity for onward delivery

Why Yana

What makes the difference

We would rather be judged on how a shipment is handled than on how it is described.

    Direct, Accountable Communication

You deal with people who know your file. Questions get straight answers, including the inconvenient ones.

Founder
“Trade breaks down in the gaps between providers. Close the gaps and the rest becomes manageable.”

Yana Capital Limited was founded in 2015 by Sachin Patel on a straightforward view: importers should not have to become logistics experts, compliance specialists and trade financiers to buy goods internationally. One team should carry that load and answer for it.
